Each 1 gm contains:

Amprolium HCl         600 mg

DESCRIPTION:

Amprolium a pyrimidine derivative has a characteristic efficacy against most species of coccidiosis by preventing coccidia from obtaining the thiamine which is necessary for its development and growth, also has a good safety profile. 

INDICATIONS:

SPECTRA PROL FORTE is indicated for treatment of all coccidial infections affecting broilers, layers, breeders, rabbits and ruminants.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral

GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE:  

Poultry: 25 mg/ kg b.w.

Bovine: 5-10 mg/ kgb.w.  

Ovine: 50 mg/ kg b.w.

DOSAGE:

Poultry        : 0.5 gm / 1liter of drinking water for 5-7 days.

Ruminants:   0.5 gm / 30 kg b.w. /day for 5 days.

SPECTRA PROL FORTE has no side effects if given within the advised doses, but giving the drug for long periods leads to thiamine deficiency.

Don't use animals and poultry products during treatment and within one day from the last treatment.

Store below 30°C.
