DESCRIPTION:

Albendazole is benzimidazole with anthelmentic activity against intestinal and tissue parasite. Animal studies have shown that Albendasole exhibits vermicidal, larvicidal and ovicidal activity. Albendazole acts by disrupting the energy metabolism in worm's either by inhibiting the enzyme fumarate reductase in krebs cycle or by polymerizing tubulin in the microtubules of cells.

INDICATIONS:

SPECTRA ZOLE-5 highly effective against gastro-intestinal round and tape worms, lung worms ( Dictycoulus ) and liver flukes (Fasciola ) that affect cattle, sheep, and goats. SPECTRA ZOLE-5 highly effective against adult and larval stages of liver flukes. SPECTRA ZOLE- 5 is ovicidal and larvicidal, It is active in particular on encysted larvae of respiratory and digestive Strongyles.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral

GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE: 7.5 mg / kg b. w.

DOSAGE:

Sheep and Goats: 0.1 ml / 1kg body weight.

Cattle, Calves and Camels: 0.15 ml / 1kg body weight.

Do not use animal meat during treatment and within 14 days from the last treatment.

Do not use animal milk during treatment and within 3 days from the last treatment.

Store below 30°C.
