Oxytetracycline  HCl             250 mg

DESCRIPTION  :

Oxytetracycline a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic active against gram positive and gram negative bacteria , some large viruses, some Mycoplasma, Rickettsia and Chlamydia .

INDICATIONS :

SPECTRA CYCLINE is indicated for treatment G.I., urinary and respiratory tract infections, enteritis and diarrhea caused by bacterial infection in poultry and ruminants.

It is also used for treatment of Air Saculitis, Omphalitis, Infectious Sinusitis, Infectious Synovitis, CRD and Coryza .

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION : Oral

GENERAL PHARMACOLOGICAL DOSE : 20 mg/ kg b.w.                                                     

Poultry                                          : 0.5gm / 1 liter of drinking water daily for 5- 7 days.

Sheep, Goats, Cattle and Calves : 2 gm / 10 kg b.w. for 3- 6 days.

Do not give to ruminant in large quantities due to its effect on microflora.

Do not use with water containing calcium.

Don't use animals and poultry products during treatment and within 5 days from the last treatment.

Store below 30°C.
