Gentamicin  Sulphate                  100 mg

Sulphadiazine Sodium                 200 mg

Trimethoprim                                40  mg

DESCRIPTION :

Gentamicin is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group active against the most important gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Gentamicin interferes with protein synthesis of bacterial cell. It is poorly absorbed from the G.I.T. and acts locally in the intestines.

Sulphadiazine Sodium and Trimethoprim have a broad spectrum action and dual efficacy against most gram negative and gram positive bacteria due to synergistic action. The combination potentiate each other and increase therapeutic effect and act as bactericidal.

Sulphadiazine Sodium and Trimethoprim are rapidly absorbed and distributed through the body and excreted via the kidneys.

INDICATIONS :

SPECTRA GENTAPLUS is indicated for treatment of general bacterial infections of  respiratory, digestive and urogenital tract caused by gram- positive and gram- negative bacteria such as :

Salmonella, E.coli, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, Haemophilus , Pasteurella ,Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION : Oral

DOSAGE  :

Poultry      : 0.5gm / 1liter of drinking water for 5 days.

Do not use in Gumboro cases and kidney failure.

Don't use poultry  products during treatment and within 5 days from the last treatment.

Store below 30°C.
